Happy Halloween!
Just wanted to say we hope everyone had a happy halloween! The kids had a ton of fun trick-or-treating at the mall where GiGi works!

Gwen Plays Mini Wii!
Nanny and Grandpa sent Gwen’s birthday present a wii bit early (pun intended) and Gwen finally has a video game we’ll let her play. Thanks so much Nanny and Grandpa!

Presenting Chef Megan!
Doesn’t she look so official? She starts class on Friday and has a TON of homework before the first day of class has even started!

Misty’s Hair
Just a quick picture showing off my hair. 10 inches and 2 years of growing it… GONE! David did a great job with the cut. It’s fun, easy, and fluffy!

Cute Hair Week!
Here’s a cute picture of Gwen from this week. The daycare likes to fix her hair some days. So we picked her up and found this adorableness. Also, Mikayla and I got haircuts, too. I got about 10 inches hacked. I’ll need to get a picture up soon. It’s a pretty radical change.

Nothing is quite like a big sister!
What a huge surprise at our house this weekend! Kaitlin showed up without warning and Gwen just couldn’t get enough snuggle time. Will try to get more pictures as we have more time with the kids.

Gwen’s first ice cream!
Woo Hoo!!! We tried some home made ice cream using soy milk and dairy free jello instant pudding mix. She loved it!

Allez Cuisine!
Cower under the shock and awe of my crockery.

Hooray for New Foods!
Gwen’s gotten a couple of new foods added to her list of things that are okay to eat: watermelon, Chips Ahoy 100 Calorie Thin Crisps (milk, egg, & nut safe), and possibly plain saltine crackers. Here’s a quick picture showing just how much she appreciates her first cookies. She’ll ask for them by name.

Their Big Day!
We are so very proud of the girls. I only cried twice during the ceremony, too.

Graduation Time!!!
Big old CONGRATS to Megan & Kaitlin for making it to High School Graduation! Woo Hoo!!!

Mother’s Day 2009
I had a wonderful Mother’s Day! Hooray!

College Update 2
Yee Haw! I got another A added to my GPA for my spring Telecourse: Major World Religions. Next class is Speech (also as an on-line class) for Summer Session 1. I *may* get ambitious and try for History during Summer Session 2. We’ll have to see if that’s possible. Then, after History will be Govt, then American Literature, then some silly Health/PE class. Then I’m done! For now. One 19-year long degree plan just to earn a measly Associates of Sciences Degree.
I’ll try to get a Mother’s Day picture posted soon. Been busy this week with paperwork and a sick baby. Sorry.
Zoo Trip!
We went to the zoo this weekend. It was overcast with chance of heavy rain late in the day, so it helped keep the zoo virtually empty compared to our normal crowded visits. The kids did great and had the time of their lives. Gwen sure was vocal all of sudden saying Look! See! So you could tell when she found the animal in each exhibit. Her favorites were the penguins and the fish in the aquarium. We also had fun riding the zoo train without even waiting in line! And the rain held up until about 1 pm, so we had enough time to see and do everything we wanted to then head home for nap time.

As Gwen would say...
Stuff! Things! People!
BALLOONS!!!
